I’ve mentioned in my newsletters that I have a Ko-fi page. I thought I’d take a little time to explain what I’m doing with it.
You’ve probably heard of Ko-fi. If not, it’s a website where you can fund and thus support creators. The base price to support is $3, or the price of a cup of coffee. (Thus the name, though I tend to say “ko-fy” so that it sounds like I mean the site and not the drink.) You can send a one-time payment or become a monthly supporter.
Since I reactivated my page I put a few of my books on sale there as ebooks. I wasn’t happy with that. After all, you can buy my ebooks just about anywhere. I couldn’t offer them at a special price at Ko-fi for anyone to purchase.
Late last year I noticed a couple creators having exclusive items on sale at their Ko-fi pages for supporters. I decided that might be a good way to encourage support and reward those who support me on a monthly basis.
Just about all of my books are uploaded to my Ko-fi page as ebooks. Those who support me at $3 a month or more can buy any of those books. The price is “name your own” with a minimum of $1.
If you support me at $3 a month, you can buy all my ebooks for at least $1.
Now, my series collections aren’t available at Ko-fi. Only single volumes are for sale there. But that does mean that instead of buying a whole series as an ebook for $7 or more, you can get them one at a time. The cost is about the same, but if you’re a mood reader you’re not obliged to read through all the books of any of my series if you get them through supporting me on Ko-fi.
You’re under no obligation to buy any books if you choose to support me. I’d appreciate all the financial help I can get. I just thought it’d be good to offer an incentive and rewards at Ko-fi.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments.
Here’s where you can follow me on social media & buy my books.
Happy writing & happy reading!
